Following dredging works, our team used dewatering geotextile tubes to pump and remove silt and sludge from the lake. The dewatering bags were supplied to us by Ecocoast.
Dewatering tubes can be used to dewater a wide range of sludge and dredged materials.
The dredged material that we pumped into the dewatering bags was left to dry out for a period of 6 months with the reduced, dried materials then being spread across the site. This provided our client with an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution, keeping disposal costs to a minimum.
